ULA & Boeing Successfully Launches Starliner OFT-2 Mission!

Yesterday, May 19th, United Launch Alliance successfully launched Boeing’s Starliner Crew Capsule on its way to the International Space Station for the OFT-2 mission. This launch comes after a 2 and a half year delay since the OFT-1 mission failure.

The Starliner Capsule is now on its way to the ISS for docking on Friday Evening. If all goes to plan the Starliner Crew Capsule will stay attached to the ISS for up to five days before parachuting back to Earth. If everything in this mission goes to plan the spacecraft will be ready to carry NASA astronauts to and from the orbiting laboratory.
